Browser cookies
Mandatory cookies ensure the technical functionality of the online service and are not used for any other purpose. The website is always operated over a secure connection (HTTPS).
The non-mandatory cookies used on the website are for web service development, visitor measurement and research purposes (Google Analytics) and advertising targeting.
Visitor Tracking
In order to develop the web service, we use Google Analytics to collect statistics about its use.
Google Analytics will only be installed when the user allows all cookies by selecting “Accept Cookies” from the pop-up window.
Google Analytics
With Google Analytics, we collect information about how a website is used. We collect information about, among other things, the number of visitors to the site, as well as the browsers and terminals used by the visitors. We use this information to improve the content and technical features of the site.
The Google Analytics account used on the website enables anonymization of IP addresses to protect user privacy, and data is not shared with other Google services. Google Analytics retains data for a period of 50 months in accordance with Google’s then-current terms. Google Analytics is a required cookie on our website.
Ad targeting cookies
Based on your online visit, we may make targeted advertising for you in other online services. We have embedded Sanoma Remarketing, LinkedIn and Facebook cookies on our website. With the help of these cookies, we aim to ensure that you see advertising in Sanoma’s online media, LinkedIn and Facebook that is as relevant, interesting and exactly to your liking as possible.

The website uses the Sanoma Remarketing pixel, which practically means a piece of code on the pages, which can be used to carry out remarketing of the website on websites owned by Sanoma Oyj. The pixel enables ads to be shown to exactly the right people and the creation of target groups for advertising. The pixel does not identify visitors as individuals, rather the visitors remain anonymous to the online service provider. If you want to opt out of the Sanoma Remarketing pixel, you can do so by selecting “Only mandatory cookies” in the pop-up window.
LinkedIn pixel
The website uses the LinkedIn pixel, which practically means a piece of code on the page that can be used to remarket the website on LinkedIn. The pixel enables ads to be shown to exactly the right people and the creation of target groups for advertising. The pixel does not identify visitors as individuals, rather the visitors remain anonymous to the online service provider. If you want to opt out of the LinkedIn pixel, you can do so by selecting “Only mandatory cookies” in the pop-up window.
Facebook pixel
The website uses a Facebook pixel, which practically means a piece of code on the page, which can be used to remarket the website on Facebook. The pixel enables ads to be shown to exactly the right people and the creation of target groups for advertising. The pixel does not identify visitors as individuals, rather the visitors remain anonymous to the online service provider. If you want to opt out of the Facebook pixel, you can do so by selecting “Only mandatory cookies” in the pop-up window.
Embedded content
Third-party plug-ins in our online service are downloaded from the services’ own servers. Services provided by a third party or applications transmitted by a third party are subject to that third party’s own terms of use and other terms.
Youtube
The web service uses a nocookie solution for embedded YouTube videos, which means that user information is transferred to YouTube when the video is watched.
Cookie settings
If you want to disable the use of optional cookies, you can do so by selecting “Required cookies only” from the pop-up window. Once blocked, your ads will appear but your ads will not be selected based on your interests. If you want to change the decision you made, you can do so here:
